The Highlands subdivision was officially established on January 15, 1925, when a surveyor’s certificate signed by H.H. Bremer mapped out 80 acres into 389 residential lots, each measuring 50×150 feet. In 1938, the LDHA was created as a domestic, nonstock, nonprofit corporation, dedicated to owning, maintaining, improving, and beautifying the shared spaces that give The Highlands its charm and character.
